Three Ways to Have Better Orgasms

There are soooo many ways to have better orgasms, and narrowing it down to just three was a feat. But these are the things I most often share with my coaching clients.

  1. Focus on your sensations.

  2. Work with your breathing pattern.

  3. Celebrate your pleasure!

Sensations

So often we are up in our heads during sex or self-pleasure. We’re not truly dropped into our bodies—which takes practice, and sometimes, trauma healing. We’re running a to-do list in our heads, or worried about how we look, if we’re going to have an orgasm.

Focusing on your sensations brings you back to your body and to the present moment, so that you can actually feel and build pleasure. It’s a great way to get out of your head, ditch the to-do list and expand your pleasure.

Breathing

I demo the breath I teach for better sex and masturbation in the video. It’s an inhale and exhale through the mouth, with no pauses in-between, deep into your belly. Again, this breath helps us get out of our thoughts and feel what’s happening in the moment.

You can also use your inhale to imagine expanding any pleasure you feel. If you feel pleasure in your clitoris, breathe into it, seeing or feeling it expand a few inches.

Celebrate!

So often when we’re focused on the goal of orgasm, we miss the pleasure along the way. We are serious and intense about getting to climax … which actually inhibits us from having better orgasms. It’s a paradox … when you focus on right now, and the pleasure you’re feeling, you build more pleasure. Then when you finally fall into an orgasm or orgasmic state, it’s much more epic and blissful.
